Cortland Line Company has been manufacturing line for over 90 years. While we are most widely known for our excellent flylines and braided fishing lines, we are also a manufacturer and supplier of premium industrial braids and monofilaments. We use all the latest high tech fibers as well as the standard polyesters and nylons. We braid and dye Dacron polyester, nylon, Spectra fiber and other high tech fibers and yarns. Our typical braid diameters range from 0.010" to 0.070"with tensile strengths from 10# to 200# test. Monofilaments are extruded in diameters ranging from 0.005" to 0.070" with tensile strengths ranging from 1.5# to 200# test and can be treated to modify handling characteristics and elongation as required. Plastic coatings can also be applied to braid or monofilament for special needs. All lines can be packaged in any desired length. We also do custom work in larger sizes and strengths.
